In the small, picturesque village of Hubbleton, local life revolves around a friendly—if intense—culinary rivalry between a renowned dwarf baker and a halfling confectioner. The peace is shattered when a sudden, mysterious fire breaks out at the village confectionery.

Suspicions immediately fall on a rambunctious but well-intentioned Gold Dragon Wyrmling named Briochebane, who has since gone missing. The party is tasked with investigating the fire, navigating the village's colorful gossip, and venturing into the nearby forest to find the energetic wyrmling before the "sickly sweet" secrets of Hubbleton boil over.
